Medicare Advantage, also known as Medicare Part C, is a plan provided by private insurance companies. Government subsidizes part or all of your premium and the insurance company designs network based plans at a low or zero premium.

Like other plans, they normally have copays and coinsurance requirements as a form of cost share that the client would assume when joining one of these plans. Most plans will include additional benefits not offered by original Medicare and usually at no additional cost to you such as dental, vision, hearing and/or gym memberships as an example.
